  Ancient Greek mythology says that the white lilly has arisen from milk of   goddess Hera - Zeus’s wife. One day she found small illegitimate Zeus’s son Gerakl, and decided to feed with her breast. But the future hero has felt in her  the enemy and has pushed away it. Milk has scattered in the sky, formed the Milky Way, and the drops which have fallen to the ground, have turned to flowers. 
Bride- bed of Zeus and Hera was covered with lilies - a flower of heavenly happiness, The goddess of beauty and love Aphrodite has given to this flower also symbolical meaning a flower of innocence, purity.
Lilly flower is a symbol of reigning dynasties. The lilly so look likes a crown, that became a part of the French kings emblems. Many royal houses arms have lilly symbolical image.
 In the Middle Ages noble women represented with a flower of a lilly in a hand. The beauty of a lilly is noted even in the Bible. Painters often represented lilly with pure Virgin Maria and archangel Gabriel who has came with a good message.
In German culture a white lilly is connected with a beautiful legend. Germans considered, that together with a lilly is born elf which in it lives, and together with it and dies. He sleeps in a flower bowl in the afternoon, and shakes it at night, why the lilly utters a pleasant gentle tinkling of bells.
Lilies grew up in ancient Persia empires. Capital of Persia had name of “lilies city”. Noble citizens In Rome decorated clothes, houses and chariots with lilies.
The white lilly has many of symbolical meanings, but the main one is purity. Therefore for a long time lilly takes a special place in wedding symbolic. The fact is also that a lilly is a flower of greatness and glory. They say that if the white lilly is sent to the person, that specifies God favour.
There are different colors of lilly except only blue and dark blue. The most popular white lilies exhale sharp pleasant smell. But the lilly can be and bicoloured with smooth transition of shades or with precise contrast borders.
First of all remove lilly anthers. The plant will not spoil itself and clothes (that is important, especially if it is a question of wedding and if a composition will move), and secondly, and also lilies longer will be fresh. Lilies do not need to be combined with other colors. Lilly flowers better  keeps the beauty in proud loneliness.
